Clean and quiet: the hallmarks of the 9mm ammunition you want for your suppressed handgun. But you’ll still benefit from Winchester Super Suppressed ammo even if you aren’t using a silencer!
This cartridge’s flat nose full metal jacket projectile features an encapsulated base. Whereas your run-of-the-mill FMJ leaves its lead core exposed at the base, this round’s bullet wears a full brass disc. The heat of ignition therefore cannot evaporate any lead, which in turn keeps the barrel, the suppressor, and even the air surrounding you a whole lot cleaner over the course of your range time.
Winchester loads this ammo with beefy 147 grain bullets. They’re too inert to become supersonic, so they can’t produce a sharp cracking noise when fired. A suppressor becomes far more effective while dampening this ammo’s subtle report, although you don’t need a suppressor to appreciate the difference!
Their Super Suppressed label showcases Winchester’s mint brass cases, low-residue propellant and dependable Boxer primers. It’s all you need to get out there and make less noise.
